About the Athens DBA
The Downtown Business Association is an organization committed to the promotion and prosperity of our historic downtown and the businesses that are located here. The members include individuals interested in the betterment of our community as well as business owners.
The purpose of The Downtown Business Association is to create a strong, vibrant, and beautiful (Athens, TN) downtown area, alive with shops, merchants, restaurants, professionals, and cultural events.

What We Do
The DBA holds monthly meetings hosted by various members to discuss and plan events, workshops, and future growth of the downtown businesses. We arrange several annual events held in downtown Athens that attract thousands of visitors each year.
Meetings
Meetings are routinely held on the first Thursday of the month at different downtown locations, allowing members to showcase their businesses.
